Violins
Marino Cappiccioni
1927
A fine Italian violin made in 1927 opus 41 This magnificent Italian violin represents the very best of the early period of Marino Capicchioni ‘s work. It is virtually in mint condition and has never been opened therefore retaining all the original thicknesses and bass bar. It has a magnificent and sonorous sound and is truly delightful to play on. It would be very suitable for any discerning soloist or chamber musician who is looking for a full bodied powerful and yet flexible sound. This particular violin is fully featured in the recently published book by Marcello Villa on Capicchioni’s life and work (page 62 and also page 58). It comes with a full certificates by Eric Blot and F. Phelps Ltd.
